Origin of the name:NOTIZIE ON LINE
Originally in this Region lived two ancient italic people: Umbris and Etruschis. To the Roman epoch of August emperor, that determined the confinements, this Region was extended up to the adriatic coast of the Marche and to west it left to Etruria the zone of Lake Trasimeno. After the fall of the empire Romano the Region was divided between Longobardis and Byzantines. In the time these zones remained always uniforms in so many small states, among which became the Dominions of Monferratos and Malatestas very powerful.

Organoleptic characteristics

  • Appereance: dense, thick and cloudy, because it is obtained directly from extra virgin oil of the highest quality olives, purposely unfiltered in order to conserve intact the patrimony of anti-oxidants (polyphenol) and the integral naturalness of the product in its primary state
  • Colour: from light green to intense green
  • Odore: f ragrance: evident fruity notes, which bring to mind the fruit just harvested with traces of herbaceous, artichoke, almond and fresh fruit, typical of the extra virgins selected with care in order to obtain the best harmony of fragrances and appealing perfumes which are particularly appreciated in culinary art.
  • Taste: rather robust, with hints of bitter and pungent, indication of olives that have been harvested and pressed in the right moment of ripeness.
